You play as White. Select a piece and its destination, or drag a White piece directly to a legal square. When one White King remains in check, only moves that resolve check are legal; with two Kings, check is not enforced. Pawns can capture en passant in either direction; each successful en passant capture grants +100 bonus points. After each enemy turn, the invasion advances and checks for checkmate or stalemate. During enemy movements and capture animations, queue any number of White premoves, including moves that are not legal yet. Their numbered route stays visible in purple; the game checks each order after the enemy phase and skips anything that is no longer legal. Press Escape to clear the route. You can also hold and drag a White piece directly. Unseen enemy pieces may advance from beyond the eighth rank and threaten a capture there.

Piece rewards: Queen: 1,000 points + Chain. The same piece can keep capturing any enemy piece it can legally take. The enemy waits during Chain. When Chain ends, White gets one extra move; moving another piece ends Chain and uses that move. Bishop: 200 points + 2× points for 30 seconds. Knight: 300 points + a Mystery Box reward, placeable on an empty or enemy square. Rook: 400 points + clears black pieces along its rank and file. Mystery Box Kings are capped at two White Kings; both are equivalent lives, and losing the last King ends the game.
